How do I set up a free conference call?

To set up a call, notify participants of the date and time of the free conference call and provide them with the conference dial-in number for their country and access code (located on your account confirmation upon registration). At the scheduled time of the conference call, everyone dials in and, once connected, the conference call begins.

Do I need to contact Commander to reserve a time for the conference call?

No, there are no reservations required for this service, and it is available 24/7.

You can upload or record a custom greeting that will play when callers join. To change the greeting, scroll down to the Custom Greeting block and click the radio button for Custom Greeting. Click Upload and choose an audio file from your computer. Click Save at the bottom of the page. Click Play to hear the file you uploaded.

If you need to make a file to upload, start a meeting using your dial-in number and create a short recording. Go to your Meeting Wall, click History & Recordings and download the file to your computer. The service supports .mp3 and .wav file formats.

How many participants can be in a single conference call?

A maximum of 1,000 participants can join a conference at one time. There are no conferencing minimums.

Can international callers participate?

Yes, FreeConferenceCall.com is a global service and can be used from anywhere in the world. Participants use a local in-country dial-in number to connect to the call. The list of countries with local dial-in numbers is growing all the time, so if the country you are in doesn't have a dial-in number, we are working hard to have one available soon.
